Position: Intern Abroad Programs Coordinator

Location: Birmingham, Michigan

Employment Type: Full Time

Description: The Intern Abroad Programs Coordinator will report to the Intern Abroad Advisor, and will be based at Panrimo’s headquarters in Birmingham, Michigan.

We are seeking a self-directed true communicator who will is able to “sell” interested students on the idea of interning abroad, and to do so on a Panrimo program. The ideal candidate will have a track record of good organizational skills. He/she will have experience in verbal and written sales practice, having previously sold a product or service primarily through email communication repeatedly. The 3 components of this job are to (1) manage a high volume of inquiries, utilizing Panrimo’s customer relationship management tool; (2) convert leads to opportunities by exciting and informing inquiries about interning abroad; (3) sell Panrimo as the best choice to the inquiring college student and/or young working professional from the U.S. or elsewhere.

This position is not commissioned-based. This is a salesperson position.

Primary job responsibilities include: 

  • Utilize Panrimo’s CRM (SalesForce) to manage high quantity of inquiries of
  • Panrimo’s intern abroad division.
  • Funnel incoming inquiries via email, phone, and other ways to understand
  • Panrimo’s services and internships abroad.
  • Convert opportunities to “sold” by getting them to apply.
  • Continue to guide applicant through phone and email, responding to parents as needed.
  • Create and provide individual student profiles to the Intern Abroad Advisor to effectively take the paying applicant through the intern abroad placement process.
  • Be available to work some nights and weekends to reply to student emails and get students to apply.

Qualifications:

•       Love for travel and exploration

•       1-3 years experience in product/service sales

•       1+ years experience in and excellent command of Salesforce

required

•       Extremely strong written and interpersonal communication skills

•       Strong advising/guiding skills to sell a customer correctly

•       Proven ability to handle/manage extremely high volume of inquiry

emails

•       High level of enthusiasm, energy, flexibility, and diplomacy

•       Personal study or intern abroad experience preferred

Position: Intern Abroad Programs Advisor

Location: Birmingham, Michigan

Employment Type: Full Time

Description: The Intern Abroad Programs Advisor will report to both Cofounders, and will be based at Panrimo’s headquarters in Birmingham, Michigan.

We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organized person eager to take an applicant through the intern abroad placement process. The Advisor communicates with the applied intern, and is responsible for these 6 components: (1) gather necessary documents from the applicant by communicating with the Intern Abroad Coordinator; (2) understand specifics of all 80+ internship opportunities available through Panrimo; (3) receive applicant’s cover letter and CV, then rework, revise, and provide a “cleaned up” version of both to potential employer abroad; (4) effectively place applicant in an internship, continuing to answer questions about life and work abroad via email; (5) ensure outstanding balance funds are received by accounting department from placed applicant; (6) and be available as U.S.-based contact during applicant’s first few weeks abroad as needed.

  • Effectively request numerous documents from applicant, keeping both the
  • documents and the applicant organized.
  • Have keen sense of knowing what an applicant is seeking in a work experience abroad, what opportunities are available abroad through Panrimo, and communicating “the best internship match” to the applicant.
  • Have genuine interest in other cultures, primarily European, wanting to know more about how best to communicate with each culture in order provide the employer on a particular intern.
  • Communicate effectively and directly with key teammates in the Michigan office to provide thorough responses and a final packet to the soon-to-be-abroad customer.
  • Be available to work some nights and weekends to reply to student emails and get students to apply.

Qualifications:

•       Love for travel and exploration

•       1-4 years work experience

•       Extremely strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to

decipher tone in emails

•       Ability to handle/manage extremely high volume of emails

•       High level of enthusiasm, energy, flexibility, and diplomacy

•       1+ years experience in and excellent command of Salesforce

preferred

•       Bachelor’s degree in business, international education, or engineering

•       Personal travel abroad experience

Position: Bookkeeper

Location: Birmingham, Michigan

Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours/weekly)

Description: The part-time Bookkeeper will report to one of the Company’s Cofounders, and will be based at Panrimo’s headquarters in Birmingham, Michigan.

Pay: $18/hour

A small-size, dynamic office seeks a part-time bookkeeper to assist in organizing and maintaining accounts receivable/deliverable/payable, among other financial tasks.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Qualifications Include:

  • Utilizing established Quickbooks Online account
  • Enter accounts receivable/deliverable/payable into Quickbooks
  • Handle billing/invoicing customers, check and credit card deposits
  • Communicate effectively to cofounders and accountant (outsourced) to populate balance sheets, reports
  • Ability to close books monthly and generate monthly reports
  • Work with vendors and pay invoices
  • Generate monthly financials
